A schoolmate died early Monday after a massive stroke from an aneurysm left her in coma for about 12 hours. Pinky was 43. A death of a friend always leaves us hurt, and then wonder when we are to be called ourselves. But it also helps us to take stock of our lives and see how ready we are. There are many more things to do in this life, it always seems, but when death strikes, all are left undone, or at least for a moment, waiting for the others to continue where the person left off.
