Many things have been written about the Pope John Paul II. One that is most said of him is that he had the courage to remain steadfast in what he believed was right. I think we have to qualify this, otherwise it would be an understatement of who he really is. In matters of faith and morals, John Paul II had the courage, the steadfastness to fight for what is
TRUE and
GOOD, not only because he believed them to be so.
Believing does not make things true and good. The truth and goodness make us believers.
