MILAN GOALLESS AT THE GERLAND 29/03/2006 23:39 Milan had to be content with a goalless draw at the Gerland stadium despite creating a number of clear-cut chances in their Champions League quarter-final first leg tie against Lyon. The Rossoneri dominated early on and Andriy Shevchenko was denied on three occasions by fine saves from home goalkeeper Coupet. The occasion certainly seemed to affect Lyon in the first period and Kakà was also a constant menace down the left flank. However, the French champions began the second half in much more positive fashion although the Milan defence remained solid. So, it is all to play for next Tuesday when the two sides go toe-to-toe again at the San Siro.
